Question
Why can’t the memory card store file capacities greater than 4GB?

Answer
The most common file formats are FAT32, NTFS and exFAT. Every format has its limitations and for FAT32, it cannot store a single file over 4GB of capacity. As for NTFS, the single file transfer capacity is limited to the capacity of its largest partition. If you need to store single file with large capacity, please format using exFAT. The format is available on Windows VISTA SP1 or later operating systems. If you wish to utilize this file format on Windows XP, please install the update KB955704. Make sure your XP has SP2 or SP3 installed before installing the update.
